Meet Wedding Make Up Artist Zoe Newman
In this episode of Meet The Wedding Suppliers we chat with one of the best Make Up Artists around as we meet Zoe Newman from Beauty by Zoe. Zoe is a brilliant Make Up Artist and she tells us about her background in beauty and how she first got into weddings. We discuss the importance of booking a calm and experienced Make Up Artist and how the role is not just to provide the make up. The Make Up Artist is also someone who is on hand to calm down Brides and offer a sense of calm on the wedding morning. Zoe tell us that one of the most important parts of the role is being honest with Brides about what ideas and products will work best for each Bride. Part of this is managing Brides’ expectations from the early meeting and how these meetings and the make up trial before the wedding is not only the most important time but also a creative time to experiment with a bride.
You have to know that you’re good – that’s why people come to you
